Dr. Jesse Hofer is a distinguished dentist and periodontist known for his comprehensive, patient-centered approach to oral health. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, Dr. Hofer develops personalized treatment plans that address each patient’s dental needs while also considering their lifestyle, goals, and financial circumstances.
Dr. Hofer earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He was then selected through a highly competitive national process for the Periodontal and Implantology Residency at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. After earning his place among dentists from across the country, he completed three full years of intensive specialty education in periodontics and implant dentistry.
Upon completing his residency, Dr. Hofer scored in the top 1% on examinations administered by the American Academy of Periodontology. This distinction reflects the caliber of his clinical expertise and his dedication to his specialty.
Dr. Hofer is at the forefront of advanced gum and implant care, offering innovative treatments designed to preserve natural teeth, maintain bone structure, and restore gum health. His expertise includes Laser-Assisted New Attachment Procedure (LANAP), the minimally invasive Pinhole Surgical Technique for treating gum recession, and multiple dental implant solutions for replacing teeth that cannot be saved.
For patients with failing or terminal dentition, Dr. Hofer also provides immediate and full-mouth dental implant solutions designed to restore oral function, appearance, and quality of life.

Outside the office, Dr. Hofer enjoys spending time outdoors, playing tennis and guitar, and producing music. He and his wife originally hail from the American West and are now happy to call Oyster Bay home.
